Hello, is this thing on? I’m Nathan Mutchler, an audio engineer and musician based out of Portland, Oregon. Throughout my life I’ve been transfixed by two things, music and the machines humans have created to manipulate the world around them. Thus I consider myself incredibly fortunate to have the job of manipulating and enriching sounds and music in various capacities. As a live sound engineer, I strive to produce those magic moments that make live music so special. When recording and mixing music, it is my goal to preserve the human element integral to any performance and bring forward the sense of depth and wonder that are uniquely possible through the recorded medium.
